NEW WIRING CONCEPT WIRE+JUST PLUG IT IN!Murrelektronik's WIRE+ wiring concept transfers signals to the control cabinet. The homerun cable is already plugged in to the cabinet with a robust connector.Sensors and actuators are conveniently connected to distribution boxes with pluggable M8 and M12 connections. Simply plug it in and tighten it with Murrelektronik's torque wrench and it’s ready!Connections inside the cabinet require time-consuming and elaborate wiring. The cables are led to the control cabinet with cable glands or cable entry interfaces. After some time-consuming stripping and insulation work, the wires can be attached to terminal blocks.This method might be an acceptable solution for stationary installations, however, problems arise if the machine has to be separated from the cabinet for transport purposes, if service work needs to be done or if the cable is installed in a drag chain and has to be replaced. Each time the wires have to be connected again. This is an inconvenient and time-consuming job. Often a service technician has to be called in for this. But now, with the WIRE+ wiring concept, Murrelektronik provides a pluggable solution that saves time and reduces costs. The robust WIRE+ connector is attached to the end of the homerun cable. The appropriate mounting case is attached to the outside of the control cabinet. Now the connection is ready - it’s simple and convenient with a one-handed, easy-to-operate locking system.The WIRE+ connector is available as pre-wired version with homerun cables of any length between 0.5 and 30 meters. It can be connected to passive distribution boxes with homerun cables and to pluggable caps and M23 cables. The mounting case for the cabinet is available as pre-wired model with a PLC plug with numbered 0.75-mm2 wires or open ended wires. The housing fits a standard cabinet cut-out (35 x 70 mm).The individual components for the new WIRE+ concept are also available for field-wiring. Murrelektronik offers all necessary tools.
